Podcast: Becca Lush | Charity Pot
In 2007 Lush created the Charity Pot body cream to raise money for charities and other good causes, with 100% of the retail price paid by customers buying the product (minus the VAT, which has to go to the Government) given away to fund grassroots organisations working on animal protection, human rights and environmental issues all around the world. By the end of 2019 Charity Pot had raised and distributed tens of millions of pounds.
In this ICYMI podcast (recorded in July 2017) Charlie Moores talks with Becca Lush, one of the key figures in the development of Charity Pot, about her role and how proud she is of everything it has already achieved.
“…100% of what the customer pays – minus the tax [VAT] – goes directly to grassroots campaigns, which is unique as far as I know…it’s transformed campaigning in this country…”

- With every purchase of Charity Pot, Lush donates 100% of the price (minus the taxes) to small, grassroots organisations that could use the helping hand to continue the incredible work that they do. Charity Pot supports organisations that align with our ethics in the areas of environmental conservation, animal welfare and human rights. Read more here.
